We had an unexpected, welcomed, and spectacular storm roll through this evening.  Lasted approximately three hours, with the finest display of non-stop lightning I think I’ve ever seen.  One small fire started up, but rain was quick to drench it out.  Alas, I didn’t make it to the scene before the drops — Ritzville, WA.

I have NO idea what those pancake-looking clouds are called.  And quite frankly, they kind of scare me!  I couldn’t see them while I was standing in the dark!
