We had some nice hefty wind on Independence Day, which added some really lovely lines to the fireworks displays. And then I started zooming in and out on them as they erupted for some added fun. Reminds me of a plasma lamp.

Anniversary Weekend

It was technically around the 19th of February the year I brought her home, but Presidents Day weekend marks three years with my girl. We finally got a chance to open the Chuckit I bought for her a while ago. As it’s my mom’s birthday today, we headed south to Tucnatown and utilized one of their pastures for some play time while mom and I chitchatted and laughed at the pooch.

Every so often the constant buzz of a small aircraft can be heard overhead here in Ritzville. Usually the sound signals a crop duster headed off to spray fields. Sometimes the buzz means people can be seen falling from the sky (there are four in this shot, can you find them all?).
