Anniversary Weekend

It was technically around the 19th of February the year I brought her home, but Presidents Day weekend marks three years with my girl. We finally got a chance to open the Chuckit I bought for her a while ago. As it’s my mom’s birthday today, we headed south to Tucnatown and utilized one of their pastures for some play time while mom and I chitchatted and laughed at the pooch.

Frosty Mill

My backyard on Christmas morning. Believe it or not, I’m actually not behind with my photos, I just haven’t taken any recently. Housework always dominates this time of year and, well, El Niño has made for a rather drab and uninspiring landscape. (Though I DID spot something I want to try and catch, if I can find it occuring on a weekend, while I’m not working at the time…)

Haven’t decided whether to paint the mini-windmill or not. It was a scrap metal-heap find, but as a whole, my philosophy is “embrace the rust.”
